yes there's just one.

I’m a wandering soul that observes humanity as a hobby. While I’m prone to being whisked up and away by the winds aloft, you can find me lingering by alpine rivers or napping on snowy mountainsides when I’m earthbound.

Broken Century began as an idea circa 2005. What started out as a chaotic mumbling about some alcoholic dude with very long hair eventually found its purpose as a commentary on modern mankind. I do not seek to linger on or discuss the blatant problems humanity faces at this time… it should be obvious enough. With this tale I seek to bring to light some of the missteps mankind had stumbled along—or been pushed down—during the past century that led to the present condition. Above all, the true intent behind this work is to inspire.

We know shit’s wrong, let’s focus on a solution.

First, though, we need to understand how it all happened.

This work of fiction is an allegory. Embellishments were made in order to provide an engaging story, but there are potent truths hidden within. Yes, humanity’s journey has certainly been interesting enough that embellishments and fictionalization are not necessary, but I wanted to provide something nice for people to read instead of another sappy brain-melter or a damn manifesto.

This novel will be published in several parts. Originally designed to be a trilogy, I discovered that the parts were just too long and needed to be divided further. The story is complete but I am still writing it into novel form. Presently, I’m working on Part III, and I currently forecast that it will fit into five or six parts.

I sincerely thank you all for your interest. By reading this story, you’re not wasting your time with another spineless, meaningless drama. One can learn a lot from this tale, and be entertained as well. At this stage, humans who choose to learn and be better will be the new leaders in evolution. Rise above the aimless confusion thrust upon mankind and overcome this broken century.
